This is the most depressing blog ever. 1. Contest judges are idiots not to pick you. 2. Readers are being deprived of your words. 3. You're an OG from Colorado.
No. No. It's not so depressing to be rejected. Every rejection is another step toward not ever being published. Or visa versa.People who don't try aren't lucky enough to get rejections.
They can't say Yes if you don't ask!Whee!
And didn't William Blake say something to the effect of "How do you know where the line is unless you cross it?"
Anybody know what the real Blake quote is? My pea brain won't bring it up.
