Oh, that's good news! I hope it will be all you want. Lucky you.
I just finished reading Ted Kooser's book, The Poetry Home Repair Manual. I found his voice refreshing, and he's got a good sense of humor. He's also plain-spoken about what a poet can expect. He lives in Nebraska. Now I want to visit. :)

Yeah, Kathryn, I agree. I admired Kooser's Repair Manual, too. I think I most admired it for its dazzlingly clear prose.
What workshop are you taking, Jack?
Dorianne Laux? Mark Doty?
David Leavitt? Do you write fiction? Leavitt's the author of 2 of my favorite novels, Lost Language of the Cranes, and Equal Affections.
If you're traveling through Kansas, stop in for dinner!
Thanks, Amy.
I'll keep you posted, but it looks like I'll be flying into Nebraska from Atlanta where we'll be visiting my wife's family. We'll see though.
