Prompt

I remember in creative writing class at CSU during the Spring of 1977, Chris Howell took a translation Kenneth Rexroth had done of a Chinese poem. He took all of the nouns and verbs from the poem, put them in an alphabetical list, told us to use them to create a poem of our own. He told us we could leave a few of the words on the list out if we had to.

Do that. Find a highly imagistic poem. Take all the nouns or verbs out of the poem, place them into a new poem. Leave a few of the words out if you have to.

The Poetry Resource Page

Don Illich just turned me on to this site. It looks like it has most of the links a poet might want. Whose site is it?
